Neighbourhood Watch

The ENW co-ordinators are Kevin Lamb and me, Keith Mortimer.

The traditional role of the co-ordinator was to receive reports from the police and other authorities and to pass these on to members as neccesary. However, this role has been largely replaced by a twice weekly free on line newsletter from E-Watch.

This is available to everyone, and not just Neighbourhood Watch members. One can unsubscribe at any time.

The newsletter contains a mine of useful information including-

-Kent & Medway CCG news

-Kent Fire & Rescue news and reports

-Kent County Council news

-Scams

-Product recalls

-Fraud alerts

-Trading Standards news & safety alerts

– County Council traffic news & reports

-Folkestone& Hythe District Council reports

Joining is easy. Search ‘E-Watch’. Select ‘Folkestone & Hythe’ and follow the simple online instructions.

Despite E-Watch it is sensible for non-members to join ENW. We still alert members to local issues reported to us ( and which may not reach the ‘ears’ of the above authorities.)
